Punjab Basketball Association condoles the sad demise of its former president K S Bains IAS who has been a president of PBA for the year 1978 to 1991. Condoling his death PBA president R S Gill DGP (retd.), Teja Singh Dhaliwal Gen Sec and Yurinder Singh Hayer IPS Retd. A Sr VP PBA recalled his services for the promotion of Basketball in the state. Under his tenure Punjab held a very successful national championship in 1982. He also remained Sr Vice President of BFI. His death was also condoled by Chief Coach PBA Rajinder Singh , Amarjot Singh, J P Singh M S Bhullar SSP (VP-PBA), Parminder Singh SP, an intl.Basketball player, Suman Sharma (Arjuna Awardee),Sumesh Chaddha and Brij Goyal all executives of PBA.
