DC confers first ‘Employee of the Month’ award to Junior Assistant Paramjot Singh
Ludhiana, July 18 To recognize hard-working and efficient employees posted in the DC and SDM offices of Ludhiana, the district administration, in a first of its kind, has launched an “Employee of the Month” initiative.
Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney presented the first “Employee of the month” award to Junior Assistant Paramjot Singh today. He is working in the peshi branch of DC office.
Heads of all branches in the DC office and SDMs offices will nominate deserving employees for the award based on criteria such as punctuality, sincerity, integrity, sense of responsibility, initiative, innovative ideas, and overall contribution to their duties.
Paramjot Singh thanked the Deputy Commissioner for starting this initiative that would recognise the extra efforts put in by government employees in discharging their duties.
Sawhney congratulated Paramjot Singh for being the first recipient, citing his hard work, valuable contribution, and willingness to go above and beyond the duty hours. She emphasized that the award aims to motivate all employees to perform at their best and give them well-deserved recognition.
Sawhney also mentioned that the Employee of the Month award will be an on-going feature of the administration and encouraged all employees to excel in their work.
She said that the Bhagwant Singh Mann-led Punjab government is committed to providing transparent and fair administration and it is possible if the employees stay motivated while discharging their duties honestly.
