ADC holds meeting with representatives of Political Parties regarding proposals to change polling station buildings in some areas

Ludhiana, March 29 :

ADC (General) Major Amit Sareen today held a meeting with the representatives of Political Parties regarding proposals to change polling station buildings in some areas of the district.

Working on the directions of District Election Officer (DEO)-cum-Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sakshi Sawhney, ADC Major Amit Sareen conducted a meeting with the representatives of different political parties on Friday and discussed the proposal to change the polling station building of booth number 44 and 45 in Ludhiana Central constituency.

Representatives of AAP, BJP, Congress, BSP among other parties participated in the meeting.

ADC Major Sareen said that no objection was received from political parties in this context. Minor changes in the names of 23 polling stations in the same buildings were also discussed during the meeting.

Meanwhile, the district administration and police reiterated its commitment to hold free, fair and transparent elections in the district.
