Asmita Khelo India Punjab State Women’s 3×3 Basketball League 2023 concludes

The two-day Khelo India U-18 Girls 3X3 Basketball League 2023 concluded at Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana. Guru Nanak Club & Khalsa Club of Ludhiana district have been the winners and runners-up respectively while Rising Sun Hoshiarpur team was placed third in the tournament. More than 80 matches were played between 24 teams which participated from the whole of the Punjab state.
Yurinder Singh Hayer IPS IG (Retd) who is a Sr Vice President of Punjab Basketball Association  presided  and while distributing prizes he congratulated the organisers from the PBA, DBA and SAI Centre for this impressive tournament. He promised full support to players from  PBA.  Rakesh Kumar Solanki In charge of SAI at Ludhiana centre was guest of honour. Madam Sonia Kumari Chief Coach Judo, Balwinder Singh Officer In charge SAI, Arun Ashish Gill (Former National Basketball Player), Naveen Kumar Kohli the sports promoters were honoured. Also honoured were parents of girl’s players especially Harpreet Kaur Dhillon , Veerpal Singh Dhillon and Charanjit Kaur whose daughters who played here are also playing National and international matches representing Punjab. Officials of DBA Brij Goyal & Vijay Chopra were also present.Teja Singh Dhaliwal PBA Gen.Sec complimented coaches Rajinder Singh, Narinderpal, Saloni, Ravinder Gill and Sukhvinder Singh for their hard work in making the tournament a  success at short notice with very limited funds.
